Paula Ankele was a former chemist who became disenchanted with Corporate America and the lack of opportunities for women in her field. In 1987, she left her job, started a direct selling business, and began networking. Over the years, she grew her business to the point where she was in the top 1% of her industry. Somewhere along the way, however, she found herself more interested in networking and working with small business owners than growing her client base and organization.

Passionate about using her influence and skills to help others, she began her next chapter in June 2020 as a Franchise Owner with AmSpirit Business Connections, a national networking organization .. Paula and an associate opened the Chicagoland area for AmSpirit during the pandemic and today there are 15 chapters and 10 more in the works. Paula believes that relationships and building a strong network are the keys to her success!
