Meet Women in Networking!

WIN was founded in 2000 by Pat Morgensen and the co-owners of the Women’s Physical Therapy Institute, Lynn O’Brien and Teri Elliott-Burke. Our purpose is to provide a referral network for leads and to encourage professional ties and friendships in the greater northwest suburbs.

Membership is open to all women whose attendance would be mutually beneficial. We do, however, accept only one member in a related field. And there are no referral restrictions or requirements.

Our dynamic membership from Lake Zurich, Barrington and surrounding communities represents a wide range of businesses from retail to professional services and more.

Committed to supporting commerce in the area, WIN provides members a forum to introduce their businesses at each of its twice-monthly meetings. In addition, WIN and its members participate in social and community events.

We welcome you to attend one or two meetings as our guest.

We meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 8:00 – 9:45 am at The Hope Collective (downstairs), 23153 W. Miller Road, Lake Zurich, IL. As of March 11th, 2026, we will be meeting in the lower-level board room at Ela Town Hall, 1155 E. Route 22, Lake Zurich, IL.

From 8:00 to 8:15, our members network, followed by a round of brief introductions. Approximately once every 7-8 months, all members are given 10 minutes to present their business and answer questions. Business discussions and periodic guest speakers are also part of our meetings.

To help us be a more effective organization, each of our members is asked to share her talents with one of the following committees: WIN Internal or External Events, Education, Technology/Communications, and Membership.
